Emery H. Goodrich's Obituary
Emery H. Goodrich, age 93, of Columbia Station, passed away on Sunday, August 28, 2016 and his home.
He was born in Wetzel County, West Virginia and had been a resident of Columbia Station since 1955 moving from Grafton.
Emery served in the US Air Force during WWII and the Korean War.
He worked as a welding cleaning room foreman for Abex in Elyria, retiring in 1980. He was the former owner of Four Keyse Restaurant in Columbia Station for 20 years.
He was a member of Midview Baptist Church since 1961 and the American Legion.
He enjoyed antique cars, Harley Davidson motorcycles, traveling with the Harley Owners Group and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his children, Larry (Barbara) Goodrich of Elyria, Linda (Jerry) Bilow of Columbia Station, Stephen Emery Goodrich of Yuma, Arizona; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Tenille) Goodrich, Michael (Michelle) Goodrich, Angela Vallo, Jessica Goodrich, Samuel Goodrich, Aaron (Alicia) Goodrich; great-grandchildren, Alena, Alexa, Kendall, Sawyer, Brody, Trever, Vinny and Malia; brother, Harry Goodrich of Jacksonburg, West Virginia; 3 brothers-in-law; 6 sisters-in-law; many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Louise Goodrich in 1998; daughter, Joyce Goodrich; parents, Thomas and Orpha (nee Kendall) Goodrich; 3 brothers and 4 sisters.
Friends may call Thursday from 4-8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. A Celebration of Life Service will be held Friday at 11AM in the funeral home. Rev. Tim Mayo will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted where full Military Honors will be conducted.
