Obit for Monday paper, 3/26/2007
Elwood Webster, 73, of Grafton, died on Saturday, March 24, 2007 at the home of his daughter in Fairview Park; following a long illness.
He was born April 15, 1933 in Webville, KY and had been living at his daughter Rhonda's residence in Fairview Park the past two years.
He worked for Abex-Meniou, Elyria 43 years as a crane operator. He retired in 1996.
He enjoyed gardening.
He is survived by his sons, Marc Webster, of Oberlin, Hibbert Webster, of North Ridgeville and Gregory Webster, of Cleveland; daughters, Sharon Stephenson, of Little Creek, NC, Rhonda Walker, of Fairview Park and Audrey Keesee, of Concord, NC; five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Homer Webster, of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his 2nd wife, Barbara; parents, Other and Nellie (nee Hall) Webster and seven brothers and sisters.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 3-5 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville; where services will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM. His nephew, Reverend James Webster, will officiate. Interment will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
