Elton Eugene Madden's Obituary
Elton Eugene Madden, age 84, of Leesburg, Florida passed away Wednesday November 13, 2013 at Lake Harris Health Center, Leesburg.
He was born in Earle, Arkansas and had been a resident of Leesburg since 2004, moving from Elyria, where he lived for 10 years. He previously lived in Avon.
A US Army Air Force Veteran, he served during WW II. He was a member of the American Legion in Leesburg, life member of the Elks Club of Lorain and the Loyal Order of the Moose in Elyria. He was a member Avon United Methodist Church and Morrsion United Methodist Church in Leesburg.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Ella, daughter, Nancy (James) Onon of Traverse City, MI, sons Richard (Marsha) Madden of Streetsboro, Philip (Adrian) Madden of Kentwood, MI, Hugh (Linda) Madden of Louisville, KY and Bert (Laura) Madden of N. Ridgeville, ten grandchildren, seven great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Herman and Lethia Madden and his sister Betty Jo Karr.
The family will receive friends Friday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Funeral services will take place 11 AM Saturday in the funeral home, Reverend Elizabeth Krall will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
