Elsie Dreger's Obituary
Elsie W. Dreger (nee Strunk), age 92 of North Ridgeville passed away Friday, October 3, 2008 at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville. She was born in Cleveland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1943. A homemaker, she and her husband owned and operated the former G.J. Dreger & Son Greenhouse in North Ridgeville. Elsie was a long time member of the Middleburg Heights Church of God and for 26 years served as president of "Women of the Church of God". She was a member of the North Ridgeville Homemakers and the North Ridgeville Craft Club. She enjoyed bowling in her younger years. Survivors include daughters, Marlene Stephenson of North Ridgeville and Beverly (Earl) Hartle of Tucker, GA., 10 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman in 1998, by a son, Clifford in 2006, by her parents, Wanda and Julius Strunk, sisters, Olga Kanenberg, Gertrude Korinek and Helen Strunk, and brothers, Arthur, Walter and Edward Strunk. Friends will be received from 5-8 P.M. Tuesday in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 8 at 11:30 A.M. Burial will follow at Elmhurst Park in Avon. Memorial contributions may be made to the Middleburg Heights Church of God 7430 West 130th St., Middleburg Heights, OH 44130.
