Elsie M. Bartlebaugh's Obituary
Elsie M. Bartlebaugh (nee Mahaffey), age 85, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at her home after living with a brain tumor for 9 years.
She was born in Welch, West Virginia and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1962, moving from Cleveland.
She worked as a nurses assistant for 10 years at several local nursing homes including Good Samaritan in Avon.
Elsie enjoyed crocheting, quilting and making jewelry.
Survivors include her husband, Bennie; daughters, Beatrice Nejadfard of Avon, Agnes “Angee” Mayhew of Amherst, Debbie Blackburn of Greenwich, ; sons, Randy Bartlebaugh of Akron, Ben Bartlebaugh of Flat Rock, North Carolina; 14 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her daughters, Pamela Gage and Sandy Jarrell, parents, John and Myrtle (nee Stump) Mahaffey; brothers, Fred and Howard Mahaffey; sisters, Ruby Lee Mahaffey, Virginia Johnson, Magaline Carter, Sally Pringle, Sylvia McPeak and Martha Rose.
The family will receive friends Friday from 4-7PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville where services will be held on Saturday at 10AM.
Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
