Ellis Thompson's Obituary
Ellis Raymond Thompson " Jack" 77 of North Ridgeville and formerly of Cleveland, died Thursday June 8, 2006 at his daughter's residence following a short illness.
He was a US Army and Marine WWII Veteran.
Ellis was a member of Grace Baptist Church, Brunswick. He enjoyed gardening and was a big Indians and Browns fan.
Surviving are two daughters, April Burnett ( John ) of North Ridgeville, and Pat Reynolds of Strongsville; son, Tom Thompson ( Anna ) of Cleveland ; seven grandchildren, Nola Schleimer ( Evan ), Johnny Burnett, P.J. Reynolds, Tommy Thompson, Michael Thompson, Scott Thompson, and Shawn Thompson; and his sister, Nancy Perkins of Tiffin.
He was preceded in death by his wife Virginia in 1998 and his sister, Betty Jordan.
Friends will be received Monday from 2-4 and 7-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where services will be held at 11AM Tuesday with Danny Savage officiating. Interment will follow at Riverside Cemetery, Cleveland where the North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will conduct full military honors.
