Ellen M. Winson's Obituary
Ellen M. Winson (nee Koviak), age 66, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, May 30, 2025, at Ames Family Hospice House in Westlake.
She was born in Elyria and had lived in North Ridgeville since 1980.
She worked as an Actuarial Analyst for Roundstone Insurance Company for the past 10 years.
Ellen was a member of St. Mary’s Church in Elyria and enjoyed performing with the Olde Towne Hall Theater in North Ridgeville. She was a scout leader and camp counselor for the Girl Scouts for over 30 years. She was also involved with AA for many years, serving as an officer in the NE Ohio District.
Survivors include her daughter, Michelle (Matt) Kulik of Tallmadge, granddaughter, Olivia Kulik, sisters, Carol (George) Fox of Wilmington, Delaware, Anne (Don) Daugherty of Stow, Susan (Brian) Krezman of Elyria, several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Tom, parents, John Koviak and Mary Tkalcec, stepfather, Carl Tkalcec and nephew, Tim Krezman.
Friends may call Sunday, June 1, 2025 from 2-5PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Monday , June 2, 2025 at 9:15AM followed by a 10AM Mass at St. Mary’s Church, 320 Middle Ave., Elyria. Rev. Charles Diederick, Pastor, will be the celebrant.
Burial will follow at St. Peter’ s Cemetery, North Ridgeville.
