Ellen M. Peacock's Obituary
Ellen May Peacock (nee Coleman), went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at Danbury Senior Living in North Ridgeville. She was born in Elyria and had been a resident of Elyria and North Ridgeville all her life. She worked as a clerk in the office at Elyria Foundry for 17 years, retiring in 2009. Ellen was a member of Church of the Open Door in Elyria where she was involved in the Ladies Bible Study group. She enjoyed reading, photography, hiking, baking, music, giving gifts, and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband of 53 years: Richard; son: Todd (Angela) Peacock of Georgetown, Kentucky; daughter: Lisa (Monte) Scholl of Birmingham; son: Mark (Elaine) of Grafton; son: Brian Peacock of Columbus; grandchildren: Tyler, Calyb, Coleman; Lainey; Andrew, Marissa, Marie, and Thomas; sister: Doris Ogle; brother: Bob Coleman.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Henry and Iva (nee Mann) Coleman; and sisters: Louise Smolinski and Marge Ormiston.
Friends may call Thursday, February 16th from 9:30 AM until the time of services at 11:30AM at Bogner Family Funeral Home: 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Pastor John Jacobs will officiate.
A private burial for family members will be at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery in Seville.
