Ellen C. McVeigh's Obituary
Ellen Catherine McVeigh, age 76, of North Ridgeville, passed on Wednesday, March 4, 2026, at the Cleveland Clinic in Avon. She was born on October 26, 1949, in Elyria, and has been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. Ellen worked as a cook and dietary aide at The Renaissance Retirement Campus until retiring in 2019. Additionally, she was a dedicated member of Faith Baptist Temple. In her free time, Ellen greatly enjoyed bowling, painting, and spending quality time with her family.
Ellen is survived by brother Gary McVeigh, nieces Hope McVeigh, Debbie Price, nephews Harold McVeigh, David McVeigh, Tim McVeigh, great-grandchildren Dakota, Lillian, and Da’Yana, Joshua, Jenessa, and sister-in-law Kathy McVeigh, and great-nephew Michael Price.
She is preceded in death by her parents Harold McVeigh and Lillian McVeigh (nee Starky), brother Glen (Kathy) McVeigh, great-nieces Theresa Price and Brittani McVeigh, and great nephew Jim Price.
Friends may call on Tuesday, March 10, 2026 from 11am until the service begins at 12-noon, at Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville, OH 44039. Pastor Jim Barta will officiate. Burial will follow at Fields Cemetery.
