Elizabeth Oehme's Obituary
Elizabeth A. Oehme (nee Choban), age 83, died on Sunday morning at the Olmsted Manor Skilled Nursing Center, North Olmsted ; following a brief illness.
She was born in Cleveland. She had lived in Westlake for 35 years and in North Ridgeville for 10 years; before moving to North Olmsted three years ago.
Mrs. Oehme was a member of the Faith Chapter of the Eastern Star.
She enjoyed cooking and camping.
Survivors include her sons James W. (Kathleen) Oehme, of Strongsville and Roy A. (Pamela) Oehme, of North Ridgeville; daughters, Barbara A. (Dennis) Butcher, of North Olmsted and Jane E. (Dennis) Lohman, of Louisville, KY; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; sister, Dorothy Florio, of Simi Valley, CA.
She was preceded in death by her husband Walter Oehme in 2002 and her parents, Steve and Anna (nee Pfaffel) Choban.
Friends may call Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 11:30 AM. Reverend Bill Shomo will officiate. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
