Elizabeth M. Naso's Obituary
Elizabeth M. Naso (nee Suchey), age 95, of Avon, passed away on Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born on October 9, 1925 in Lorain and has been a lifelong resident of Lorain and Avon.
Elizabeth was a caring homemaker for her family for most of her life, but worked as a “Rosie the Riveter” assisting with the war effort during WWII, where she met her husband Bill. She moved on to work as a secretary for Mr. Barr, Principal of Brookside High School.
She was a lifelong member of St. Mary of the Immaculate Conception Church in Avon, Ohio.
Elizabeth enjoyed baking and was known as “the Pizzelle Lady” because she gave her delicious treats to everyone she knew. She found her greatest joy in spending time with family, friends and neighbors.
She was a loving mother and grandmother. Daughters Linda (Jeffrey) Harmon of North Ridgeville and Pamela (John) Maidens of Avon; son William “Bill” (Sue) Naso of Cleveland; grandchildren Jeffrey (Vikki), Phillip (Suzanne), Terrie (Georg) Romell, Scott, Cory, Daniel and Anthony; great grandchildren Febe, Fletcher, Carter, Jaxen, Ava, William, Lydia and Sydney.
Elizabeth was preceded in death by her loving husband Bill Naso; great grandson Hunter; parents Michael and Elizabeth (nee Toth) Suchey; brother Michael Suchey.
Memorial Mass, Wednesday, March 31, 2021 at 2:30 p.m. at St. Mary of The Immaculate Conception Church, Avon. (PLEASE ARRIVE AFTER 2:15 P.M.) Interment will be private.
