Eleanor J. Trynovich's Obituary
Eleanor J. Trynovich, age 80, passed away peacefully on May 25th, 2023. Eleanor was born in Colver, Pennsylvania where she spent all of her life with the exception of her last few weeks when she moved to Ohio to be surrounded by her family. She was a bookkeeper for Central Cambria Drilling for most of her career before retiring in 2018. She was an avid member of the St. Nicholas of Myra Byzantine Catholic Church in Nanty Glo, PA. Eleanor had a witty dry sense of humor and liked to make people laugh. She loved to watch all sports and was always willing to have long discussions about her two favorite teams – the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penguins.
Eleanor is survived by her sister, Rose Vassanelli; nieces and nephews, Rick (Denise Keehan) Vassanelli, Paul (Jeannie) Vassanelli, Chris (Mindy) Vassanelli, and many other nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Mary (nee Kemmler) Trynovich, brother John Trynovich, Jr., sister Ruth Manz, brother James Trynovich and sister Marlene Sidwar.

A Memorial Mass will be held Noon on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at St. Nicholas Byzantine Church, 1191 Second Street, Nanty Glo, PA. Burial will immediately follow at Holy Family Cemetery, 3200 Snake Road, Ebensburg, PA.
