Eleanor D. Cox's Obituary
Eleanor D. Cox (nee Dvorak), age 90, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at O’Neill Health Care Center Assisted Living in North Ridgeville.
She was born in Detroit, MI and moved to North Ridgeville from Rocky River 12 years ago. She had lived most of her life in Cleveland and Garfield Hts.
Eleanor worked in payroll administration and as a stenographer for American Steel and Wire in the 1950’s.
She enjoyed fashion, shopping with her family, reading and keeping up on current events, and was active in the Telephone Pioneers.
Survivors include her daughters, Sally (Ronald) Soltis of North Ridgeville, Susan (Roy) Simi of Fairview Park; granddaughters, Anna and Carly Simi.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W. Cox in 2013; parents, Matthew and Anna Dvorak; and her brother Robert C. Dvorak.
Friends may call Thursday from 1PM until time of service at 2PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Deacon Jim Agrippe will officiate.
Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery, Westlake.
