Elaine M. Young's Obituary
Elaine M. Young (nee Coleman), age 78, of North Ridgeville passed away Sunday November 30, 2025 at Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake.
Born in Cleveland, she resided in North Ridgeville since 1978 when she moved from Elyria.
She earned an associate’s degree in accounting from L.C.C.C. and worked as a manager at Dollar General, North Ridgeville in the late 80s.
Elaine was an avid reader, enjoyed going to Amish Country along with visiting Casino’s, but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and her dogs.
Left to cherish her memory are her children Lollie (Dan) Olsen of Elyria, Ron (Michelle) Young of North Ridgeville and Kimberly (Brian) Raymond of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Emily (Austin) Meadows, Hunter (Paige) Olsen, Ronald Young, Brianna Raymond, Alexis Raymond, Seth (Kelly) Olsen, Deanna (Chris) Hampton, Dana (Matt Kennell) Cozze, Amanda Young (Jim Hubbard), and David Britton; great grandchildren Walker Meadows, Cora and Nathaniel Pryor, Jack and Sam Olsen, Jameson Kennell, Leah and Brandon Hampton, Lauren Britton, Stella and Ezra Hubbard and one more great granddaughter on the way and her sister Beverly (Bill) Branford of Mogadore. She was preceded in death by her husband Ronald this past January, and her parents Bruce and Ruth Coleman
The family will receive friends Wednesday December 3, 2025 from 5 PM until time of Funeral Service at 6 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate. Interment will be private.
