Elaine M. Mathews' Obituary
Elaine M Mathews (nee Wolfe) age 65 of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully at her home Sunday April 27, 2025. Born in Cleveland, she had resided in North Ridgeville since 1983, after moving from North Olmsted. She was a member of St. Peter Parish, North Ridgeville. She was active with Myositis Support Group in Parma and Cancer Survivors Support Group. Elaine worked as a secretary for the Richard E. Jacobs Group in Westlake for many years.
Surviving are her sons Jason (Kori) Mathews of Pewaukee, WI , David (Nicole) Mathews of Purcellville, VA and Christopher (Cerissa) Mathews of North Ridgeville, grandchildren, Jackson, Madelyn, Paige and Corey Mathews, sisters Diane Seman of Columbia Station and Kathy Mentler of Avon, Brother, Arnold Wolfe of North Olmsted.
She was preceded in death by her father, Arnold W. Wolfe, mother, Ruth D. Wolfe (nee Kicen)
The family will receive friends Sunday May 4, 2025 from 2- 4 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held 9:30 AM Monday. 10 AM Mass will follow on Monday at St. Peter Church 35777 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Rev. Robert Franco will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
