Eileen K. Mattice's Obituary
Eileen K. Mattice, (nee Frank), age 86, of North Ridgeville, passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday, October 29, 2013 following a brief illness.
She was born on April 6, 1927 in Elyria. Eileen was a North Ridgeville High School Graduate and an office employee at Ridge Tool. She was a homemaker raising five girls and worked with her husband Clarence at their business Matt-A-Matic.
She enjoyed sewing, gardening, bingo, traveling and spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville and was in the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. Post 9871.
She is survived by her daughters Shirley (Floyd) Banks, Carol (Ralph Sudina) Mattice, Judy (William) Amonett, Diane (Larry) Wells and Kelly (John Hamilton) Mattice Schmeltzer; 11 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; sister Dorothy Schneider.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Clarence; two great grandchildren; parents Carl and Lillian (nee Diederich) Frank; sister Coletta Morsher.
Family will receive friends in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville on Friday 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. where a prayer service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday preceding an 11:00 a.m. Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev. Bob Franco will Officiate. Interment Litchfield Cemetery.
