Ed was our next door neighbor; always a pleasure to talk with him. Unfortunately, I was unaware of his passing as my husband was in Hospice at the time and passed away a short time later. Ed will be missed. He had a great sense of humor and great personality. He always welcomed our bull dog on his patio when barbequing and she loved him. Condolences to his family.

We, as grandchildren of Baba and Cedo, were so very fortunate to have such wonderful fathers, and blessed to have uncles and aunts that were inspirational role models to us growing up. They will always be in our hearts.

Ed and I would run into each other around the neighborhood. Sometimess at St. Julies and sometimes at various stores. I'm a neighbor on Sunflower and former President of Wildflower Assn. Sometimes we disagreed on subjects but most always we agreed on others. He amazed me with his stamina and humor. I regret that I didn't visit him while he was here and I pray that his soul rests in peace. My deepest sympathies to his family, whom he expressed his love for many times in our conversations.

I shared many good times with Ed & Phyllis at their home in Bay Village, family reunions and other occasions that brought family & relatives together . I spoke with Ed shortly after Phyllis passed and we reminisced about the 'good old days'. I'm sure he'll be missed by all who knew him, especially his family. He had a great sense of humor and a wonderful personality.

My sympathy on the loss of your Dad. My Dad and I founded Mid-America Chemical and Ed was a great mentor and friend to us. He certainly loved to discuss his family as well. I always remember him quoting his own Dad:"You either have it in your head or in your feet." It has been some years since I saw Ed, but the last time was when he was on his way to pick fruit at nearby Rosby's. He was hobbling around, but was determined to pick some berries himself. A great man, inspiration and friend!
