Edward Wallencheck's Obituary
Edward "Wally" Wallencheck, age 75, of Elyria , died Saturday, July 9, 2005 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph, Lorain following a short illness.
He was born March 26, 1930 in Everettesville, WV. He had resided in Elyria the past 32 years moving from Lakewood.
He worked as a Processor for Engelhard Corporation in Elyria for 20 years, retiring in 1993. He previously was a heavy equipment operator with the Operating Engineers Local 18A for 20 years.
Mr. Wallencheck was a avid NASCAR fan, enjoyed watching races at Lorain and Sandusky Speedways, camping, playing baseball, word puzzles, model cars and watching Westerns.
Surviving are his wife of 48 years, Margaret "Peg" (nee Potts) 8 Sons, Edward of Arlington, TX, John of Elyria, Paul of Elyria, Phillip of Lorain, Thomas of Elyria, Lawrence of Salt Lake City, Utah, Mark of Cleveland, David of Elyria; daughter, Cynthia Habib of Parma; fifteen Grandchildren, three Great Grandchildren; and a brother, John of Strongsville.
He was preceded in death by his Parents, John and Helen Wallencheck, daughter Susan Lynn Wallencheck, brother George Wallencheck..
Friends will be received 2-4 and 7-9, Monday, July 11 at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville.
Private interment will be in the Holy Cross Cemetery, Cleveland.
