Edward Rollins' Obituary
Edward A. Rollins, age 55 of North Ridgeville, passed away Wednesday at his home following a lengthy illness.
He was born in Pittsfield, Massachusetts. He had resided in North Ridgeville for the past 27 years.
Mr. Rollins served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War.
He was the owner and operator of R and K Technologies in North Ridgeville.
Ed was a member of St. Peter Catholic Church, was a Life Member of North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 and a founding member of the North Ridgeville American Legion. He enjoyed playing cards, traveling and spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife of 31 years Evelyn (nee Garrity), his son Tim (Niki) and grandchildren Graydon and Emerson Rollins all of North Ridgeville.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Lila Rollins.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6-8 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Rd North Ridgeville, where a prayer service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday followed by 11:30 AM Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church 35777 Center Ridge Road. Rev. Doug Koesel, associate pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Peter Cemetery.
The VFW Post 9871 will conduct full military honors at the gravesite.
