Edward Lee Reynolds' Obituary
Edward Lee Reynolds, age 85, of Lorain, passed away Sunday evening July 22, 2018, at Life Care Center of Elyria.
He was born in West Hamlin, WV. He had resided in Lorain for most of his life until retiring to Pleasant City, Ohio in 1989. He moved back to Lorain in 2002.
Mr. Reynolds served in the US Army during the Korean War and received the National Defense Service Medal.
He was a Honing Operator for Ford Motor Company, Brook Park, OH retiring in 1989 after 30 years of service.
His hobbies included woodworking, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles, listening to Bluegrass music, and singing bass. He also enjoyed watching westerns and reading western books.
Surviving are daughters; Wanda Torres of Middleburg Heights, Sandy (Felix) Ayala and Lovona Reynolds both of Lorain, Brenda Reynolds of Oberlin, grandson David Torres, siblings; Gusta Irene Layton, Nina Ruth (John) Meadows, Sylvia Jewel Reynolds, Garley "Ray" (Judi) Reynolds, Neda Louise Tabor, Eileen "Marie" (Jonny) Garner, Ernest Andrew Reynolds and Arthur Nello (Bonnie) Reynolds.
He was preceded in death by his wife Bertha Edna Reynolds (nee Shultz); Parents Thomas John and Pansy Garnet Reynolds (nee Brumfield); brothers Buzzie Monroe Reynolds and Thomas John Reynolds and sister Margaret Ellen Hutchison.
The family will receive friends Friday, July 27, 2018, from 12:00 pm until time of service at 1:00 pm at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Pastor Edward Young will officiate. Interment will follow at the Fields Cemetery, North Ridgeville with full military honors by North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871. Dinner will follow at Primera Baptista.
