Edward L. Miglich's Obituary
Edward L. Miglich, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away on May 12, 2018 at Southwest Commons Assisted Living in Strongsville, after a sudden illness. He was born June 23, 1940 in Massillon, Ohio and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 42 years. He worked at Aabaco Plastics as a Plant Manager. He was a US Army veteran. Ed was a referee, scorekeeper for the North Ridgeville schools, and is a Hot Stove Hall of Fame Umpire. He enjoyed traveling (beach, cruises and Disney) and attending his grandchildren’s sporting events. He is survived by his wife of 56 years, JoAnne (nee Sumser); daughters Angela (Joe) Auner of North Ridgeville, Kristen (Ryan) Moore of North Ridgeville; sons Mark (Denise) Miglich of Seville, Jeff Miglich of Cleveland, and Kevin Miglich of North Ridgeville; grandchildren Nick (Shelley), Chad, Alec, Stephen, Michael, Nathan, Zachary, Jillian, Brett, Rachel, and Dylan; great granddaughter Emma; brother Jack (Vicki) Miglich of Massillon; brother in law Frank Torcasio; many nieces and nephews. Ed was preceded in death by his parents Louis and Geraldine Miglich; sister Kathy Torcasio. The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 2–4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville and on Thursday at 9:30 a.m. for a Prayer Service preceding a 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Peter Church. Rev Andrew Hoover will officiate. Interment with Full Military Honors will be Friday, May 18, 2018 at 10:00 am at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
