Edward N. Kundla's Obituary
Edward N. Kundla, of Hilliard and formerly North Ridgeville, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at Doctors Hospital in Columbus.
He was born in Josephine, Pennsylvania and had been a resident of Hilliard since last March, moving from North Ridgeville where he lived for 55 years.
Edward served in the US Army.
He worked as a test engine operator for Ford Motor Company in Brookpark, retiring in 1996 after 39 years.
He enjoyed babysitting his grandchildren, bowling, volunteering at EMH Regional Medical Center, crossword and jig-saw puzzles.
Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Nancy, sons, Edward of North Royalton, Enrique of Columbus, daughters, Christine Kett of Brunswick, Veronica Keeney of Columbus, 7 grandchildren, brothers, John of Lakewood, California, Bob of Cleveland and sister, Irene Tomechko of Litchfield.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Mary Kundla.
Friends may call Monday from 4-7PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held on Tuesday at 11:30AM followed by a 12PM Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church. Rev. Bob Franco, Pastor, will be the celebrant. Mass will be live streamed on St. Peter Catholic church Facebook page. Due to Covid-19, masks and social distancing will be required.
Burial will be in St. Peter’s Cemetery where VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville will conduct full Military Honors.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter Memorial Fund, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
