Edward Brown's Obituary
Edward D. Brown, age 77, of North Ridgeville, passed away Friday, April 23, 2010 at his home surrounded by family after a long illness. He was born in Wheeling WV, and had resided in N. Ridgeville for the past 33 years. Mr. Brown faithfully served his country in the US Army during the Korean War. He then went on to work 39 years for General Motors Parma Plant retiring as an inspector in the mid 1990's. His hobbies included reading, bowling and he was an avid Cleveland Sports Fan.
Survivors include his wife Laura (nee Kent), daughters, Kimberly Brown of Rocky River, Deborah (Kenneth) Burngasser of Elyria, son Jeffrey Brown of Bay Village, six grandchildren and one great grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Dale and Rosalene Brown, and sister Olive Yankovic.
The family will receive friends Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 PM at David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 10 AM Tuesday in the funeral home. Rev. Bill Buckeye, Pastor of Bay United Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
