Edna Novak's Obituary
Edna K. Novak (nee Garlock), age 98, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at Center Ridge Health Campus, North Ridgeville.
She was born in Parma and moved to North Ridgeville in 2004, after spending four winters on Long Island, Bahamas, moving from Strongsville, where she had lived since 1950.
Edna was a member of St. Joseph's Church in Strongsville and the Strongsville Garden Club.
She enjoyed gardening, canning, crocheting, sewing, cooking and baking.
Survivors include her son, John (Penny) of Cleveland; grandchildren, Abraham (Connie) Novak, Aamiee (Jason) Sirok, Zachary (Melanie) Novak; great-grandchildren, Makz, Meadow, Josiah, Madeleine, Austin, Caydence and Brodrick; niece, Alice Kothera; nephews, William Kothera and David Borchart.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John in 1985; sisters, Susan Krutil, Thelma Adalph; brother-in-law, George Novak; sisters-in-law, Helen Schmidt, Marie Borchart, Lillian Kothera.
Friends may call Friday from 12 Noon until the time of service at 1:00 PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville.
Rev. Bob Sanson will officiate.
Burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
