Edna Louise Gower's Obituary
Edna Louise Gower (nee Farnsworth), age 91, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Friday, August 16, 2019 at O’Neill Healthcare in North Ridgeville after a lengthy illness.
She was born on June 30, 1928 in Wellington and has been a lifelong resident of North Ridgeville. She was the past president of the Wellington Women’s Club. Edna loved to host parties and was an excellent baker. She enjoyed watching movies, was an avid reader and had an extensive doll collection. She spent her free time working word search puzzles, but her greatest joy was found in spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchild.
She is survived by her daughter Denise (Stephen) Tharrett of Highland Village, TX; sons Dirk (Julie) Gower of Elyria and Daniel Gower of Elyria; grandchildren Travis and Alyssa Tharrett, Carrie (Richard) Master, Claire and Nigel Gower; great grandson Edwin Master; many nieces and nephews.
Edna was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Kenneth; parents Kenneth and Harryette (nee Moore) Farnsworth; sons David and Duke Gower; brothers Russell and Kenneth Farnsworth; sister Harryette Cornwall.
A Graveside service will be held on Tuesday, August 20 at 11:00 a.m. at Greenwood Cemetery in Wellington. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate. For
