Edna French's Obituary
Edna L. French (nee Fox), age 73, of Eaton Township, died on Wednesday, September 14, 2005 at EMH Regional Medical Center, Elyria; following a long illness.
She was born in Crickmer, WV and had been a resident of Eaton Township the past 53 years; having moved from West Virginia.
She had worked as a sorter for the Berea Vegetable Packing Company for 28 years and retired in 1980.
She was a member of the Elyria Moose 778 and of the Ladies Auxiliary -VFW Post 9871, North Ridgeville.
Mrs. French enjoyed cooking, going out to dinner, spending time with her family and traveling.
Survivors include her daughter, Dreama (Raymond) Denn, of Elyria; sons, Gary (Pam) French, of Columbia Station and Terry French, of Crystal River, FL; 4 granddaughters, 2 great-grandsons; special friend, Alan Munn, of Elyria; brother, Kenneth Fox, of Bellwood, WV; sisters, Retha Lively, of Crystal River, FL and Elsie Lane, of Meadowbridge, WV.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 42 years, Kelly French in 1989; parents, Robert and Lily (nee Goddard) Fox; brothers, Dempsey, David, Judd, Oakley, and Tom Fox; sisters, Ester Goddard, Alafair Black, Mary Fox and Sylvia Austin.
Friends may call on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where the Ladies Auxiliary of the North Ridgeville VFW Post 9871 will conduct a service at 7:00 PM. The Funeral Service will be held in the funeral home on Monday at1:00 PM. Reverend Bill Shomo will officiate.
Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon..
