Edna "Arlene" Rutherford's Obituary
Edna “Arlene” Rutherford (nee Hershman), age 87, of North Ridgeville, passed away Monday July 17, 2023 at Ames Family Hospice House, Westlake.
Born in Briar Hill, PA, she had resided in North Ridgeville the past 56 years after moving from Cleveland. Arlene was a labor and delivery Nurse at Allen Memorial Hospital, Oberlin.
She enjoyed puzzles, needlepoint, sewing and loved her pet cats.
Survivors include her children, Sharon Draper of Elyria, Mark Rutherford of Connecticut, Brian (Brenda) Rutherford of Elyria and Lisa (Bill) Nachman of Portland, TN, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, brother Darrell (Mary) Hershman, sister Lois Scabis, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David in 2020, parents, Kenneth, and June Hershman, son-in-law, Ray Draper, grandson, Craig Draper, brothers, George, Kenneth and Ronnie Hershman and sister Leila Guldin.
A private family graveside service will be held at Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
