Edith Evans' Obituary
Edith R. Evans (nee Harris) age 80, of Elyria, died Friday January 4, 2008 following a long illness.
Mrs. Evans was born in 1927 in Colcord, WV. She had been a resident of Elyria since 2001, and had lived in North Ridgeville for forty-eight years prior to that.
She is survived by her son, Jack (Susan) of Bradenton, FL; daughter, Jewell of Elyria; daughter-in-law, Beverly of North Ridgeville; five grandchildren, Jeff (Veronica), Robbie Axford Evans, Michael, Lee, and John; sister, Nena Pierson of Bomont, WV; and special longtime friends, Donna Brandon of Sheffield Village, Mary Cluley of Westlake and Christine Brandon of North Ridgeville. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry in 1983; son, John in 2004; parents, Abe and Bessie (nee Stanley) and many brothers and sisters.
The family is especially grateful to Bu, Sue, Loretta and Lindsey for their constant support during Edith's illness.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00PM Tuesday at Blue Ridge Memorial Garden, Beckley, WV.
