Earl William Leventry Jr.'s Obituary
Earl William Leventry Jr., age 74, of Grafton, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
He was born on February 10, 1946 in Johnstown, PA and has been a resident of Grafton for the past 49 years, moving from Berea. Earl was a veteran of the U.S. Army and was a life member of the V.F.W and past Commander of V.F.W. Post 3341 in Grafton, as well as a life member of AMVETS Post 32 in Elyria. He was an assembly line worker at General Motors for 31 years, retiring in 1999.
Earl enjoyed building cars and loved to be outdoors camping, hunting and fishing. He was very giving and was always there for everybody. His greatest joy was found in spending time with his family.
He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Janet (nee Kinsey); daughter Elizabeth (Brian) Schuster of North Ridgeville; sons Walter “Joe” Leventry of North Ridgeville and Earl III (Felicia) Leventry of Youngstown; grandchildren Edwin, Lawrence, Wyatt, Casandra, Thomas, Becky, Jessie, Aaron, Mark and Jaydalynn; 5 great grandchildren; sister Helen (Don) Lowers of Vermilion.
Earl was preceded in death by his parents Earl Leventry Sr. and Clara Leventry-Rushe (nee Jones); 6 brothers and 1 sister.
A private interment with Full Military Honors will take place at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery at a later date.
