Duane C. Denn Sr.'s Obituary
Duane C. Denn Sr., age 66, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015 at his home.
He was born on February 27, 1949 in Wooster and moved to Elyria as a young child. He graduated from Elyria High School in 1968.
He served in the US Air Force from 1968-1974.
Duane worked as a machinist for York International for 25 years and until recently, was a custodian for Westlake High School for 14 years.
Duane enjoyed gardening, woodworking and spending time with his family. He also bowled on a league for many years.
Survivors include his beloved companion of 21 years, Marsha Frazier; former wife, Barbara Price (nee Vittori); children, Duane Jr. (Emma), Anthony (Jennifer) and Laurie (Bryan) Layne, George Frazier Jr., Tracy (Jackie) Frazier, Glenn Frazier, Todd (Tonya) Frazier; mother, Frances Metera (nee Starr); sister, JoAnn Denn; grandchildren, Ashley, Branden, Joshua, Jessica, Logan, Tyler, Abygayl, Nicholas, Emilie, Amanda, Katelynn, Megan and Libby.
Duane was preceded in death by his father Albert Denn.
Friends may call Wednesday from 5-8 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Funeral Service with Full Military Honors by V.F.W. 9871 will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Frank Kosem will officiate. Interment will be private.
