Douglas Scott (Big Bird) Judy's Obituary
Douglas Scott “Big Bird” Judy, age 51, of North Ridgeville, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013 at his home.
He was born in Oberlin and spent summers at Camp Clare-Mar Lakes, where he met his wife. He was a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 14 years.
Douglas served in the Navy Sea-Bee’s.
He worked as a garbage truck driver for Rumpke Recycling for many years.
He was the car owner of the #99R E-Mod “DILLIGAF” Rac’n Team. He loved his garbage truck, was an avid NASCAR and Jeff Gordon fan and enjoyed spending time with his little redheaded granddaughter.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Cynthia (nee McVey); sons, David (Megan Leighliter) Judy of Lorain, Branden (Heather Branch) Judy of North Ridgeville; grandchildren, Alexi Judy and Thomas Judy-McVey both of North Ridgeville, Aubriella Judy of Lorain; father, Thomas “Fuzzy” Worcester of Benson, Arizona; brothers, Carl (Rhonda) Mattax of Texas, Tex Worcester of Maryland, Steve (Melanie) Worcester of Maryland; sisters, Susan Mattax of Benson, Arizona, Michelle Blakeslee Worcester of Wakeman, Linda (Raymond) Fuller of Maryland; many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Suzanne (nee Lightner) Worcester.
Friends may call Monday 2-4PM and from 6 PM until the time of services at 8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Chuck Behrens will officiate.
