Douglas J. Kunes' Obituary
Douglas J. Kunes, age 79, of North Ridgeville passed away peacefully Monday. October 21, 2019 at UH Cleveland Medical Center. He was born on August 9, 1940 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 42 years moving from Cleveland. He worked assembling and repairing bicycles for French Co before retiring in 1992. Doug was a member of St. Peter Church. He enjoyed playing golf, reading, grilling outside and spending time on his computer. He loved his grand puppy Bailey. Survivors include his wife of 51 years Geraldine; daughters Kelly Bruene of North Ridgeville, Michelle Kunes of North Ridgeville; brothers-in-law David (Cathy) Urso of FL., Rich Urso of Streetsboro; sisters-in-law Arlene (Bill) Conti of Highland Hts., Annette (Tony) Fatica of Highland Hts.; cousin Adrienne (Terry) McKee of Columbus. He was preceded in death by his parents James and Annamae Kunes; many aunts, uncles and cousins. Family will receive friends Thursday, October 24, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held Friday at 9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 AM at St. Peter Church. Rev Andrew Hoover will officiate.
