Dorothy Schneider's Obituary
Dorothy E. Schneider (nee Ryan), age 87, a long time resident of North Ridgeville, passed away peacefully on Wednesday October 13, 2004 in the loving care of her family and the staff of Good Samaritan Nursing Home, Avon and the Hospice of the Western Reserve; following a brief illness.
She was a devout catholic, and a member of Saint Peter Catholic Church, North Ridgeville. Dorothy will be remembered fondly for her love of crossword puzzled, knitting, sewing, quilting, traveling, watching game shows, and playing bingo at her beloved Senior Citizens Center in North Ridgeville. She was a member of the North Ridgeville Senior Citizens.
She was the beloved wife for over 50 years of the late Lorenz W. Schneider, Sr.
She was the dearest mother of Lorraine (Richard ) Kelly, of North Ridgeville, Lorenz ( Sandy ) Schneider, Jr., of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Lou
( Larry ) Sull, of Brunswick Hills, and the late Jerry Schneider. She was the cherished grandmother of Michael ( Lindsey ) Kelly, Erin ( Brandon ) Kelly, Megan ( Leno ) Kelly, Rachelle ( Michael ) Akers, Mark Schneider, Loren Schneider, Jennifer ( Craig ) Bruehler, Lori (Scott)Hurdle and David (Lisa ) Hurdle. Dorothy was the loving great- grandmother of Kaitin, Ryan and Peyton.
Along with her husband, Dorothy was preceded in death by her parents, Jimmy and Mary (nee Keller) Ryan, sister, Marie ( Jack ) Brier, and brother, Neal ( Jule ) Ryan.
The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville; where prayers will be said at 9:30 AM on Saturday. The Funeral Mass will follow at 10:00 AM at Saint Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Stephen Kaminski, pastor of Saint Peter's, will be the celebrant. Burial will be in Saint Peter Cemetery.
