Dorothy Poole's Obituary
Dorothy M. Poole (nee Parks), age 73, of North Ridgeville, passed away Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at St. John Medical Center, Westlake following a long illness.
She was born in Johnson City, Tennessee, grew up in Baltimore, Maryland and had been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1995. She previously lived in Bainbridge, Broadview Hts. and Middleburg Hts.
Dorothy worked in customer service at Teledyne in Cleveland for 12 years, retiring in 1998.
She attended Avon Church of God.
She enjoyed golfing, home decorating and gardening.
Survivors include her husband, Steven; son, William (Kyra) Bittle of Cuyahoga Falls; daughter, Sherry (Mike) Bittle-Rader of Brooklyn, New York; granddaughters, Amanda Wolff, Anna Betliskey; grandsons, Matthew and Andrew Bittle and brother, Jack Parks of Phoenix, Arizona.
She was preceded in death by her son, Ray Wolff in 1999 and mother, Margaret Parks, step-father, Pops Wolff.
Friends may call Friday from 5-8 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 11 AM in the funeral home. Rev. Joe Kelly and Rev. Danny Wright will co-officiate.
