Dorothy M. Moss' Obituary
Dorothy M. Moss (nee Mosier), age 86, of Elyria, passed away on November 1, 2014 at University Hospitals Elyria Medical Center after a lengthy illness.
She was born on May 28, 1928 in Burbank, Ohio and had been a resident of Grafton for 40 years, before moving to Elyria in 2014.
She had worked at D.C.M. Manufacturing in Valley City, retiring in 1998 after 12 years of service.
Dorothy loved doing word search puzzles and playing bingo, but nothing made her happier than spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She was survived by her daughters Phyllis Parker of Lodi, Hazel Butler of Grafton, Mildred Jenkins of Grafton, Bonnie (Mick) Kyer of Litchfield, Ruth Rains of North Olmsted and Molly (Ken) Grabrovac of Elyria; son Charles R. (Dinah) Moss of Elyria; 19 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; brother Alvin (Marcy) Mosier of Wadsworth; sister Karen Brundige of Medina; many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charles E. Moss in 1999; parents Ivan and May (nee Haggman) Mosier; sisters Althea Moore and Margaret Harte; niece Ruth Ann
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday at 10:00 a.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., N. Ridgeville where family will receive friends on Wednesday 5-8 p.m. Rev. Stephen Carter will officiate. Interment will be in Burbank Cemetery.
