Dorothy M. Lubinski's Obituary
Dorothy M. Lubinski (nee Wheeler) age 85, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Monday, January 27, 2020 at the St. John Medical Center in Westlake.
She was born on April 16, 1934 in Hancock, Maryland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville since 1961, moving from Cleveland. She was a U.S. Army Veteran and a past parishioner of St. Peter Catholic Church in North Ridgeville.
Dorothy worked as the head cashier and manager at the Northview IGA in North Ridgeville. She truly enjoyed her job at the IGA, and in her spare time loved to go fishing with her husband. Her greatest joy in life was found in spending time with her husband and their three boys.
She is survived by her sons, Dan (LeeAnn) Jr. of Amherst, twins Darryl of North Ridgeville and Dennis of Eaton Township; three grandchildren, Danielle (David) Hinrich, Darryl Lubinski and Daniel J. III (Megan) Lubinski; great grandchild Daniel Lubinski IV; sister Patricia (Patsy) Szuks; sisters in law Rose, Gerry and Mable Wheeler; many nieces and nephews.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Daniel G. Sr., parents Meredith and Lewis Wheeler; brothers Russell, Frank and Donald Wheeler; sister Sheila (Richard) Hrabak.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7 p.m. in the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, N. Ridgeville, where services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday. Pastor John Jacobs will officiate. Burial with Full Military Honors will follow in Resthaven Memory Gardens, Avon.
