Dorothy Lewis' Obituary
Dorothy M. Lewis, age 68, of Elyria, died Saturday evening at Good Samaritan Skilled and Rehabilitation Center, Avon; following a long illness.
She was born in Morrisdale, PA. She had been a resident of Elyria since 1967; moving from Olmsted Falls.
Mrs. Lewis worked in the food service department at Spring Valley Elementary School, Elyria for 10 years and retired in 1994.
She was a member of Saint Jude Catholic Church, Elyria
She enjoyed reading.
Survivors include her sons, Brian (Karen) Lewis, of Northfield, Bruce Lewis, of Elyria; 2 grandchildren, Sarah and Nathan Lewis, both of Northfield; sister, Anna Callahan, of Sheffield Lake; brothers, Andy Kashella, of Abington, MD, James Kashella, of Palsiades, Co and Edward Kashella, of Lake Worth, FL.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Andrew and Hermine (nee Pintas) Kashella.
Friends may call Wednesday from 7-9 PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville and at the Strange and Weaver Funeral Home,171 Deer Creek Road, Morrisdale, PA from 10-11 AM on Friday; followed by a Funeral Mass at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, Morrisdale, PA. Reverend Father Gregory Kirsch will officiate.
