Dorothy Bright's Obituary
Dorothy A. Bright (nee Parks), age 70, of Medina, died suddenly Tuesday afternoon at Medina General Hospital.
She was born Lakewood, Ohio. She had moved to Medina this past March from Mount Vernon, Indiana where she had lived for 6 years with her sister. She had previously lived in the Western Suburbs of Cleveland most of her life.
She was a graduate of Berea High School.
Mrs. Bright worked as a Hostess and Banquet Manager for many years.
She enjoyed baking, sewing, her grandchildren and spending time with her friends.
She is survived by her daughter, Karen Moore of Medina, two sons, Kurt Bright of Parma and Robert Bright of North Ridgeville, nine grandchildren, one great grandchild, one brother, James Parks of Lake City, Minnesota, one sister, Jane Whipple of Evansville, Indiana and several nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Robert Keith Bright in 1972, and her parents, Kenneth and Opal Parks.
The family will receive friends Saturday from 11:00 AM until time of services at 1:00 PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Reverend David Bennett, Pastor of Doctor Martin Luther Lutheran Church, Brooklyn Heights will officiate.
Private burial will be in Holy Cross Cemetery, Brookpark.
