Doris G. Sellers' Obituary
Doris G. Sellers (nee Prochaska), age 87, of North Ridgeville, passed away on August 24, 2016 at the Wesleyan Village in Elyria after a lengthy illness.
She was born on February 14, 1929 in Cleveland and has been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 3 years, moving from Bedford where she had lived her whole life.
Doris was a woman who was kind-hearted and quick to laugh, which led to having the many friends she surrounded herself with throughout her life. That friendship was extended to animals too, loving her pet cats and dogs, as well as feeding the birds and squirrels outside her home. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed nature, traveling, and playing golf. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband of 60 years, Richard; sons Richard Sellers of Germany and James (Kelly) Sellers of Olmsted Falls; daughter Susan Sellers Gitlin of North Royalton; grandchildren Malorie, Bradley, Briana (Keith), Emily, Sierra, Melanie, Mikaela and McKenzie.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Grace (nee Banish) Prochaska and brothers Frank “Buddy”, Richard, and Ronald Prochaska.
Family will receive friends in the BOGNER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 36625 CENTER RIDGE RD., N. RIDGEVILLE, ON FRIDAY FROM 5-8 p.m. Funeral Services will be on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home. Rev. Dr. Thomas Joyce will officiate. Interment will be private.
