Doris Dodd's Obituary
Doris A. Dodd, 82, of Westlake, died Sunday morning at Saint John Westshore Hospital, Westlake; following a brief illness.
She was born in Cleveland and had lived in Westlake since 1987; having moved from Bay Village.
She was a teacher for the Bay Village Schools for 20 years. She retired from the school system 25 years ago. Mrs. Dodd also worked as a para-legal for Realty One for ten years and retired from Realty One 10 years ago.
Her hobbies included cooking, bowling and golf.
She volunteered many hours for the Bay Village Meals on Wheels and for Village 100, Bay Village.
She is survived by her daughter, Donna (Joel) Kostyu, of Durham, NC; son, Charles A. (Daryl) Dodd, of North Ridgeville and stepson, James Dodd, Of Rock Creek, OH; and four grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday at 6:00 PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Reverend Bill Shomo will officiate.
