Doris Mae Demorest's Obituary
Doris Mae Demorest (nee McAndrews), age 93, of Sheffield Lake passed away on Thursday, May 26, 2016 at her home.
She was born in Lorain and had been a resident of Sheffield Lake for the past year moving from Elyria. She previously lived in Ashtabula, Lorain and Phoenix, Arizona.
Doris enjoyed reading, crocheting and needle working.
Survivors include her sons, Howard “Butch” (Sara) Hewitt of Elyria,; daughters, Barbara Hewitt of Sheffield Lake, Patricia (David) Danker and Sandra Stevens of Sheffield Lake; grandchildren, Christina Hewitt, Michelle Sas, Howard Hewitt, III, and Jennifer Stevens; great-grandchildren, Amanda, David, Amelia, Ava, Nicholas, Makayla, Kasey; and one great-great-grandchild, Ryan. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Howard “Pete” Hewitt, second husband Howard Demorest, daughter, Sharon Hewitt, sons Timothy Earl and James, sister, Evelyn Versace and her parents, George and Gladys McAndrews.
Friends may call Tuesday from 11 AM until time of Service at 12 Noon at BOGNER FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Interment will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens
