Dora A Pauley's Obituary
Dora A. Pauley (nee Mitchell), age 77, of Elyria passed away Saturday, December 7, 2024, at her home surrounded by her family. She was born in Red Bay, AL and grew up in the Cleveland area. She worked as a proprietor for day care centers for over 20 years. She was a member of Praise and Worship Church in Elyria with Pastor James Monday. Dora enjoyed reading, watching old shows, playing the drums, and fostering children. She is survived by her husband of 59 years Hershel; children Robert (Sherry) Pauley of Wooster, Theresa (Terrence) Browder of Elyria, Melissa (Jimmy) Armstead of Muscle Shols, AL; grandchildren Jeremy, Jessica (Aaron), Daren (Sahsha), Damen (Jessica), Lynae, Madison, Maverick, Tevin, Tessa; 4 great grandchildren; sister Martha Worman; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Elva T. and Ozella Mitchell; sons Darold and Jared Pauley; brother William Joe Mitchell. Visitation Tuesday from 5-8 pm at Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd. North Ridgeville. Funeral service Wednesday at 11 am in the funeral home. Rev Charles Marcum will officiate.
