I met Donna several years ago when she was in Nashville visiting Grace. A group of us went to the Loveless café, well known for their biscuits and preserves. We all ate until we were stuffed. I remember her wonderful sense of humor and how much we all laughed during our time together. My deepest sympathy and condolences to the family for your loss.
My husband Mike and I met Donna & Grace shortly after moving to Pioneer Ridge. My husband introduced himself as a wine maker with no basement to make wine! Grace & Donna took charge and built a wine cellar! Mike, Grace & Donna drank some good wine & some bad wine together, perfecting as they went. That was the start of a wonderful friendship. I met Donna and Grace at OLLI classes held in SC. Several of us just "clicked" and we continued to meet at various times over lunch or dinner. Many shared laughs (and concerns) over politics, former jobs, or what was going on in the world. I will miss Donna's gentle manner and quick sense of humor. I remember her fondly.

Bo and I will remember Donna as someone with open arms and a loving spirit. When we visited Donna and Grace in 2013, they allowed us to bring our dog, Baxter. He immediately gravitated to Donna and was never far from her side. He knew right away how special she was. She will be missed!
