Donna M. Janowicz's Obituary
Donna M. Janowicz (formerly Dowdell) nee Lacina, age 75, of North Ridgeville passed away Friday October 3, 2025 at Raeann, Westlake following a long illness.
Born in Elyria, she was a resident of North Ridgeville for most of her life.
Donna was a librarian at Grafton-Midview Public Library from 2001-2011. She enjoyed baking and working at the family farm, Butternut Farms. She also coached youth soccer at Midview and was very involved with the Pep Club.
She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Grafton.
Survivors include her son Ted (Aleah Featherston) Dowdell, sister Susan (Edward) McGinty of Grafton and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband Larry Janowicz, Parents Frederick and Evelyn Lacina, brother Freddie Lacina and sister Jeanie Sasack.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 4-7 PM at Bogner Family Funeral Home North Ridgeville and from 10:30 until 11 AM Mass at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church 708 Erie St. Grafton. Rev. John Seabold, Pastor will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in Butternut Ridge Cemetery, Eaton Township. The family welcomes all who can join us for a luncheon following burial services back at Our Lady Queen of Peace Church.
