Donna J. Hughes' Obituary
Donna J. Hughes (nee Andrews), age 90, of North Ridgeville, passed away on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at University Hospitals in Cleveland.
She was born in Bellevue and had been a resident of North Ridgeville for the past 19 years moving from Bay Village.
She received her Bachelor of Nursing Degree at Lutheran School of Nursing and her master’s in business administration from New York University.
She worked as a Registered Nurse for University Hospitals of Cleveland for 14 years and worked as the Executive Director of Greater Cleveland Nurses Association for 11 years, retiring in 1993.
She enjoyed listening to music, reading, swimming, and was an avid Cleveland sports fan.
She was a member of the Ohio Nurses Association, the Greater Cleveland Nurses Association and was a board member of the Mills Creek Creekside Condo Association.
Survivors include her son, Scott F.W. Hughes of North Ridgeville; daughter, Susan A. (Scott) Campana of Avon Lake; grandchildren, Kelsey (Eric Gregus) and Justin Campana; and her beloved cats, Misty and Cocoa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles W. Hughes; parents, Fred and Lucille Andrews; brother, Richard J. Andrews.
Friends may call Friday from 4-7Pm at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville. Services will be held on Saturday at 10AM in the funeral home. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate.
Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Park, North Olmsted.
