Donna June Cuebas' Obituary
Donna June Cuebas (nee Kemmerling), age 92, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2019 at O’Neill Healthcare in Bay Village after a lengthy illness. She was born on June 6, 1927 in Cleveland and spent her early years in Fairview. She earned her associate degree from Ohio Wesleyan University and went on to own Donna Cuebas Interiors, where she was an interior decorator. Her passion was interior decorating, but she also enjoyed floral decorating, designing and making center pieces. Donna was an accomplished singer, singing in local theaters.
She is survived by her husband of 68 years, James A.; sons Jay D. (Lucie) Cuebas, Jeff A. (Rachael Sauer) Cuebas and Joel J. (L. Kim) Cuebas; 7 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren. Donna was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Maryann “MiMi” (nee Pase) Kemmerling. Memorial Service Saturday, June 29, 2019 at 10 AM at Hope Christian Church, 32625 Detroit Rd., Avon. Rev Geoff Schultz will officiate.
