Donald Whalen's Obituary
Donald Whalen, age 89, pf Clearwater FL passed away Friday, May 17, 2024, at Morton Plant Hospital in Clearwater FL. He was born in Greene County PA and had been a resident of Clearwater for over 20 years, formerly of Oberlin. He worked as an assembler at Ford for 53 years before retiring in 2004. He was a member of VFW and the Moose Lodge. Don enjoyed playing golf, gardening, doing yardwork, playing music, and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is survived by his daughters Vickie (David) Sharp of North Ridgeville, Dawnita (Robert) Horsley of Columbus; son Donald Whalen Jr. of FL; grandchildren Andrea, Tommy, Jonathan, Michael, Brandon, Anthony, Sativa, Jessie, Hanna, Emma, Andrew; 7 great grandchildren; All services will be private.
