Donald Pfingsten's Obituary
Donald H. Pfingsten, 81 of Medina , formerly of North Ridgeville died Sunday, June 7, 2009 at Medina General Hospital following a long illness.
Mr. Pfingsten was a graduate of Lakewood High School . He retired in 2005 from Moore's RV Sales, North Ridgeville following fifteen years of service. Prior to that, he had been employed with Nelson Pump and Supply, Norton , OH for thirty years. He was a member of the Medina Eagles Club, and enjoyed cruising in his RV and boat, traveling, fishing and hunting.
Surviving is his wife, Kathy Bradford Pfingsten, three sons, Peter of Henrietta Twp., Paul (Dorothy) of Elyria and Phill (Carolyn) of Elyria ; daughter, Pam Pfingsten of Elyria ; three step-sons, Dale (Marie) Metzger of North Royalton, Tom Metzger of Cleveland and Michael Metzger of Litchfield and a step-daughter, Michelle (Fred) Sweany of West Salem, OH.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Doris in 1994; and parents, Henry and Florence Pfingsten.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 6-9PM at the David Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Rd., North Ridgeville where a prayer service will be held at 9:30AM Wednesday. Funeral Mass at 10AM Wednesday at St. Peter Catholic Church, 35777 Center Ridge Rd. , North Ridgeville . Rev. Doug Koesel will be the celebrant. Burial to follow in Elmhurst Cemetery, Avon .
