Donald Perry's Obituary
Donald E. Perry, age 73, fo North Ridgeville died Sunday at Westlake Health Care Center following a short illness.
He was born in Avon. He had resided in North Ridgeville the past 7 years moving from Westlake where he had lived 18 years. He previously lived in Avon and Lorain.
Mr. Perry retired from Great Northern Mall in 2000 where he was a custodian for 22 years.
He was a member of St. Richard Catholic Church in North Olmsted.
Mr. Perry enjoyed listening to country music, reading the Bible, hunting with his brother and was an avid Denver Bronco's Fan.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jacquelyn (nee Schmitz), two daughters, Connie Bislich of Lodi, Carolann Perry of Lorain, one son, Donald Perry Jr. of Elyria, five grandchildren and one great granddaughter, one sister Theresa Thomlin of Elyria and one brother, Reynold Perry of Sheffield Township.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Omar and Pauline Perry, his daughter, Lucindann Perry, his grandson, Mark Pastor, two sisters, Helen Hovnitz and Virginia Taylor and one brother, Earl Perry.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9PM in the David Bogner Family Funeral Home 36625 Center Ridge Road North Ridgeville. Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Wednesday in the funeral home. Reverend Charles Stollenwerk, Pastor of St. Richard Catholic Church will be the celebrant.
