Donald L. Patchin Jr., age 36, of Elyria, passed away on Monday, August 28, 2023 at his home surrounded by family.
He was born in Elyria where he was a lifelong resident.
Donald worked as a container repack specialist for Ross Incineration for the past 10 years.
He enjoyed spending time with his son building Legos, playing Mario Cart, and watching movies. He loved to cook and listen to music.
Survivors include his son, Silas Patchin, mother, Carol Elek of Arkansas, brother, Luis Cruz of Arkansas, sister, Danielle Cruz of Lorain, brothers, Tom and Mike Elek both of Elyria, his son’s mother, Jennifer Kopis of Elyria, stepson, Mason Barnett of Elyria, best friend, Ashley “Bird” Willets of Elyria.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Rose and Howard Carver.
Friends may call Sunday from 3PM until the time of services at 8PM at the Bogner Family Funeral Home, 36625 Center Ridge Road, North Ridgeville. Rev. Alan Jenkins will officiate.
